The noble material in question here is slate, millions of years in the making making it very ancient indeed. I like Mauricio's modern design on such a noble material. He has married two eras together; up to the minute with ancientness. It takes talent to do that!!
I can't help thinking though that this particular piece should not be a clock but rather a wall decorative modern piece. Just simply that.
