Chunky Slate used for the Mirrors
These two photos show just how chunky and full of character the recycled slate tiles we us are. The last time we got a consignment of slate it was from an old house in Castletown Geoghegan in Co. Westmeath. The time before that was Slate from an old huguenot house in Geashill, Co. Offaly. Some of these slate roof tiles can be up to 1 metrre long and the same wide.
