Handmade Slate Chess Boards
For Bloom in the Phoenix Park this year Mauricio introduced again some of handmade slate chess boards. They got a great reception. A few chess games were played and a lot of admiration with wooing and oohing was given. And no wonder. They are truly an art piece, a centre piece, a wow piece that needs to be there to the ready at all times. They are a piece to be admired especially when the chess pieces are also present (We don't make the pieces but they are handmade. We will shortly have better photos with the chess pieces on so you can make your own mind about whether no room should be without such a piece of beauty!
