Although these paintings on slate are not really from Charleville Forest, I suppose you could say they are. We've been living at the Gate Lodge of Charleville forest for 20 years now so it must influence Mauricio (he's the artist) in some way. Although forests are basically all the same in that they are full of trees, each forest has its own charm.
These woodland scenes on slate will be with us at the ploughing championship. We are located in the Offaly County Council’s pavilion – Offaly Ireland’s Hidden Gem which is located in Block 2 Row 14 Stand 311.
