Ancient Woodland

Part of our Art on Slate range the two rectangular pieces, titled Ancient Woodland on Slate and Ancient Forest on slate are measuring 19½" x 13½" approx.  This unique painting is crafted on recycled slate.  First, the tree trunks and their barks and the forest floor are all etched out with the use of an angle grinder and then all of this is hand painted with high quality oil paints.  (Please note that one is called "Ancient Woodland on Slate"  and the other is called "Ancient Forest on Slate" just to differentiate.) 

The Ancient Woodland on Slate Round and the Ancient Forest Round Bending Over Branches are aprox. 20"
